Bell Donates Toward Nussbaum Relocation

The Nussbaum Center for Entrepreneurship announced it has received a donation from Bell Foundation for $6,500. The Greensboro-based business incubator will use the donation toward the renovation of the former Carolina Steel plant on South Elm-Eugene Street, which was donated to the Nussbaum Center as a possible future home, according to Sam Funchess, president and CEO of the Nussbaum Center. “This money is a great help towards our goal of moving into a permanent location and continuing our mission of growing the Triad’s economy by supporting and educating entrepreneurs,”Funchess said in a release. Bell Foundation seeks to support economic development and quality of life initiatives through grants in the greater Greensboro area. The foundation was started by the Bell family that heads Greensboro-based real estate investment and management firm Bell Partners.
