(February 12, 2019) — Bell Partners Inc., one of the nation’s leading apartment investment and management companies, announced today the addition of two senior executives, reflecting the Company’s steady growth. Angela Gibbons will serve as Senior Vice President, Human Resources and Laurann H. Stepp will serve as Senior Vice President, Investor Relations.

Ms. Gibbons will oversee Bell’s Human Resources department. She will work with the HR team to focus on identifying and developing talent, as well as enhancing Bell’s organizational culture, employee engagement, and infrastructure. Prior to joining Bell, she worked for Engineered Controls International, LLC as the VP, Global Human Resources for five years. Ms. Gibbons brings over 25 years of Human Resources experience from within various industries. She was a senior advisor, strategic business partner, and principal architect of her past employer’s human capital strategy. Ms. Gibbons holds a B.A. from Spring Arbor University in Human Resources Management and has her Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification.
Ms. Stepp will be the primary Investor Relations contact for existing investors across all institutional vehicles. She will help create and structure new offerings as well as oversee investor materials and legal negotiations. She brings over twenty years of experience as an institutional investor, across multiple product types and strategies. Most recently, Ms. Stepp was a Senior Portfolio Manager for Pennsylvania Public School Employees’ Retirement System (PSERS), where she was responsible for a $3 billion global real estate investment portfolio. During her six years with PSERS, she led 50 additional investments representing $5 billion of commitments. From 1997-2011, Ms. Stepp invested in real estate, private equity, venture capital and distressed debt on behalf of PSERS. She spent the first decade of her career in commercial banking, both as a lender and a credit risk manager. Ms. Stepp holds an MBA from Penn State University, and a B.S. degree in Business from Edinboro University of Pennsylvania.
