Bell Apartment Living
The Bell Apartment Living team currently manages approximately 60,000 homes and employs over 1,500 associates. Our portfolio is located primarily in the Mid-Atlantic, Southeast and Southwest United States. According to the National Multi Housing Council, Bell Partners is the 10th largest apartment management firm in the country. We seek to continuously exceed client, investor and resident expectations by delivering superior service and leveraging our extensive operating platform. The following groups work closely with and support our property operations team:
Accounting/Finance. We have in-house accounting and reporting capabilities to handle day-to-day financial management to meet the requirements of our high-net-worth investors and institutional clients.
Business Intelligence. Our Business Intelligence group utilizes proprietary processes to deliver accurate budgets and reforecasts, as well as provide industry benchmarking.
Construction Management Services. To maximize the value of each asset, we have an internal team devoted to asset repositioning and capital improvements.
Information Services. Bell Partners’ Information Services group utilizes industry-leading systems and software to connect people and data.
Human Resources and Training. Bell Partners’ Human Resources group works to create a positive work environment for our associates, and to support our leaders at all levels of the company. We utilize a “top grading” process to ensure the highest quality associates are being hired, trained and retained. We give our employees opportunities to perform at their highest levels. Our Bell University training curriculum provides a catalog of courses, both online and in-person, tailored for a variety of skills.
Marketing. Bell Marketing offers a variety of solutions for lease-up and stabilized assets, including access to national vendor partnerships with volume discounts and a robust internet marketing platform. Bell’s unique “Marketing Factory” offers creative advertising solutions through an online, self-service store and catalog. Our Marketing team supports our on-site communities by creating scalable, yet flexible, marketing campaigns that fit the needs and budget of any asset.
Purchasing and Utilities Management. Given our extensive platform and national scale, Bell has a team of associates focused exclusively on negotiating favorable terms and prices for services such as cable, laundry, vending and utility recovery. This helps to ensure optimal revenue and expense alignment with client and asset strategies.
Revenue Management. The Revenue Management department monitors and sets pricing for all new and renewal leases, ensuring the properties maximize revenue and respond to changing market conditions.
Risk Management. Bell has a dedicated team specializing in risk assessment, insurance procurement, claims management and safety.
